With the promise of sun and near 70, Sunday should be a great day for baseball. The Lannon Stonemen welcome Merton to the home field starting at 1pm. Merton is coming in after a tough loss to Monches on opening weekend. The will be looking to right the ship this early in the season. We should get our first look at Nick Erd on the mound for the Stonemen, as he looks to build on last years success. Adam Bigus takes over the reins as player/manager, as Bruce Mayer steps aside from the field manager spot. I think he said something about getting tossed for the first time in his Land O Lakes career! Looking forward to the mix of young and returning players as we get our season started. #comeonsunday
