Sussex would get two back in the top of the second on rbi singles from Aaron Trattner and Bryan Laabs. Falls would add 1 on a groundout in the second, and the score would remain 4-2 until the 5th.

In the 5th, Sussex got things rolling with singles from Ben Wilkins and Seth Kroenke before Ryan Weissman ripped a double to tie the game at 4. With two outs, Tanner Johnson lined a single to left to put Sussex ahead for good at 5-4.

The teams traded runs in the 7th before the Cardinals would break it wide open in the 8th off of reliever Lukas Kell. 8 hits and a couple of Falls errors would lead to 7 runs, and the eventual final score of 13-5.
