A lot of offense in this one at Trenary field as Menomonee Falls and Hartland combined for 27 runs on 33 hits.

Falls got on the board first with 4 in the bottom of the first off of Hartland starter Kyle Mabry. A couple of bloop hits and a couple of errors did not help, with the big hit coming on a 2 run single by Lukas Kell. Hartland got 3 right back in the top of 2, highlighted by a two run double from Jake Dibb.

Back to back triples from Matt Emmer and Jake Schimenz got things going in the 2nd, and it would be Schimenz again delivering his 2nd triple of the day in the 3rd inning, as Falls was now up 9-3. In the 4th, Hartland would get one back on an rbi single from Zak Felkner, but Falls responded with 4 more, featuring a 2 run single by Emmer to put the score at 13-4.

With 3 in the bottom of the 6th, it seemed that this would be a run rule game, but Hartland wouldn't quit off of reliever Logan August who struggled with his control. After Felkners bases loaded walk to ensure the game was going to the bottom of 7, Travis Koeppen lined a 3 run double just out of the reach of a diving left fielder to make things interesting at 16-10. Lukas Kell came on to throw really well over the final 2 plus innings to give Falls the victory, 17-10.

Nearly everyone in both lineups had multiple hits. Falls was led by Matt Emmer with 4, Zack Kornburger, Jake Schimenz, and Josh Stanisch with 3 each, Tommy Wolf and Lukas Kell with 2.

For Hartland, Trevor Duran had 3 hits, with Zak Felkner, Kyle Petoskey, Craig Henschel, and Jake Dibb all adding 2.
