Menomonee Falls 13 at West Bend Lithia 9
http://www.landolakesbaseball.com/schedule/game/38995

Nick Heiting's Menomonee Falls Lakers team knows that if it has any hopes of being one of the three teams to make it out of the crowded Suburban Division it has to start winning games at a fevered pace.  Coming into West Bend on Friday night the Lakers knew that they could not let happen what happened the last time these two teams met, when Lithia defeated the Falls.  It looked ugly for the Falls after the 3rd inning when Lithia opened up a 5-2 lead.  However in the 5th the bats awoke from a sleepy nap, and ran off innings of scoring 3, 4, 1, and 4 to take the 13-5 lead.  Lithia made it interesting in the 9th by scoring 4 and had the tying run at bat.  Paul Smith led the way for the Falls with 4 hits.  Chris Laurishke, Ed Kozlowski, Tyler Fitzsimmons, and Joe Kiemen had multiple hit games for the Falls.  Tyler Morrison had 3 hits for the West Bend Lithia, while Ryan Morrison and Gavin Forester had multiple hit games.

Oconomowoc 6 at Brookfield Blue Sox 0
http://www.landolakesbaseball.com/schedule/game/38998

Luke Nelson is one of the greats in the Western Division, and whenever the Oconomowoc Five O's get their legendary player to make an appearance good things often happen.  Today Nelson matched wits with another great in Johnny Arnold, coming off a no hit performance a start earlier.  Through 8 it lived up to expectations as Oconomowoc escaped Brookfield with a big 6-0 win.  Nelson was brilliant scattering 6 hits in the shutout complete game.  Oconomowoc got 3 hits from the big bat of Jeffery Rhoads, and multiple hit games from Luke Nelson and Chandler Ziemann.  Will Johnson and Tim Kahle had multiple hit games for the Blue Sox.

Hartland 3 at Milwaukee 4
http://www.landolakesbaseball.com/schedule/game/39001

John McNeil's Hartland Oilers were coming to Milwaukee with a secret weapon in hand in the big arm of Branden Frank who was added to the roster in the past week, and cleared to throw after Tommy John.  In his way of a special opening start was the surging Milwaukee Beavers who were looking to get within a game of 1st place in the crowded Suburban Division.  Milwaukee got to Frank in the 2nd scoring 2 thanks to some aggressive Beavers base running.  With the score 3-1 Beavers in the 8th the Oilers tied the game thanks a big RBI hit by Kyle Petoskey, who had 3 hits on the day.  The Beavers would walk off yet again thanks to a RBI single from Scott Bailey scoring Doug Martin.  Jarrett Gates had a multiple hit game for the Beavers.  Alex Rejniak pitched well for the Beavers, going 7 and giving up just a run.

West Bend Lithia 2 at Monches 10
http://www.landolakesbaseball.com/schedule/game/39002

Hand it to Pat Smith and his Monches Irish team as they seldom have a letdown game, and this Sunday was no different as the Irish took care of business against the West Bend Lithia.  Monches jumped out early and led 7-0 after 5.  Lithia scored 2 in the 6th thanks to RBI doubles by Ryan Morrison and Sam Michels.  The Irish would get those runs back in the 7th thanks to a 3 run inning to seal it at 10-2.  Buck Konkel had 3 hits for the Irish.  Mitch Dubnicka, Andy Smith, and TJ Dieball had multiple hit games for Monches.  Sam Michels had 3 hits for Lithia, and Ryan Morrison had a multiple hit game.  Blake Hunt and Josh Rupple pitched well for Monches, giving up just 2 runs on 7 hits and each man struck out 7.

Lannon 4 at Menomonee Falls 3
http://www.landolakesbaseball.com/schedule/game/39000

When Lannon and Menomonee Falls get together, for many of them it is like a homecoming game and everything that comes with that.  The Erd boys, Don Matovich, Troy Kenkel and others return to play in their hometowns and there is a sense of intensity you only see in rivalry games.  For the Falls, every game has become a must win.  Lannon made it look it was going to be a long day for Don August by scoring 3 in the first, but the score remained 3-0 until the bottom of the 6th when the Falls tied it up thanks to RBI by Chris Laurishke and Ed Kozlowski.  Lannon would answer back in the 8th and scratch across a run.  Nick Erd would come in relief of Troy Kenkel and slam the door shut.  Nick Erd had 4 hits and Ty Kozlowski, Brett Krause, and Joe Erd had multiple hit games.  Paul Smith and Ed Kozlowski had multiple hit games for the Falls.

Pewaukee 3 at Sussex 6
http://www.landolakesbaseball.com/schedule/game/38996

When you're Pewaukee and you have won everything on your schedule coming into the week, you know you have a big bulls eye on your chest.  When you're missing your team leader and one of the best players in the league, your target gets that much bigger.  For Sussex, they've been around the block and will play anyone and everyone, and they took it to Pewaukee Sunday defeating the Muskies for the first time in Land O' Lakes play this season.  Travis Thompson was on his game not allowing a Pewaukee run until the 9th.  Ben Wilkins had 3 hits for the Cardinals, while Nick Schreiber, Todd Johnson, Sam Harmeyer, and Michael Barnes had multiple hit games for Sussex.  John Sarcia continued his torrid pace with 3 more hits for Pewaukee, while Brandon Werner and Mike Rufer had multiple hit games.

Brookfield Bulldogs 5 at West Bend 7 Up 4
http://www.landolakesbaseball.com/schedule/game/38997

You can count on one thing when the Bulldogs and 7 Up get together, and that it will be a high level ball game and this was no different as Brookfield played a little small ball twice to get out of West Bend with a big win to stay in first place and put West Bend into a pressure cooker of must win games.  West Bend got a 2 run home run from Billy Bynum in the 5th to put West Bend up 4-1, but Scott Booth answered with a 2 run home run of his self to the exact same spot that Bynum hit is to pull the Bulldogs back to 4-3.  With the score tied at 4, a lead off walk by Mike Mierow, a sac bunt, and a stolen base got him to 3rd for Mike Jacobs who hit a sac fly to give Brookfield the lead for good.  Dan Barwick and Bill Gorman had multiple hit games.  Greg Basthemer was real good in relief for Brookfield.  Nick Winter had 3 hits for West Bend, and Taylor Koth and Matt Parrent had multiple hit games for West Bend.
