(6) Brookfield Bulldogs 5 at (2) West Bend 7 Up 8
Few things are more difficult in the game of baseball then beating the same team 3 times in one season, and West Bend 7 Up had the daunting task of trying to beat Brookfield for the 4th time in the 2015 season. Brookfield had a secret weapon however and that was left hander Anthony Andres, who just recently became available to pitch more for the Bulldogs. Things looked really good early for the Bulldogs as they made the most of 3 West Bend errors in the top of the 2nd inning. Jeff Lueck singled to lead off the inning and was advanced to 2nd with a 1 out walk to Tyler Fitzsimmons. Josh Lemke would reach on a error. With 2 outs and the bases loaded Kris Franzen lined a ball through the shortstop and scored Lueck and Fitzsimmons and move Lemke to 3rd. With Franzen stealing 2nd base Lemke broke for home and a pickle started but a missed throw allowed Lemke to score to make it 3-0. The score remained 3-0 until the bottom on the 3rd when Matt Parrent opened the inning off for 7 Up with a walk, after being advanced to 2nd on a balk, Parrent got to 3rd after a Jed Justman single, and scoring on a Sam Mattheis single. With the score 3-1 Brookfield in the 5th, West Bend went to work, and scored 3 runs all with 2 outs to take the lead 4-3. With 2 outs Brandon Mantz hit a double to left field and scored after a RBI single by Jed Justman. With Justman at 1st base, both Sam Mattheis and Taylor Koth reached on consecutive infield singles. With the bases loaded, Billy Bynum hit a ball to the right centerfield gap for a 2 RBI double. The score remained 4-3 West Bend until the 7th inning, when West Bend added to the lead. Back to back singles to by Brandon Mantz and Jed Justman to lead off the inning, Sam Mattheis got hit by pitch to load the bases with nobody out. Taylor Koth hit a sacrifice fly to score Mantz, and then Billy Bynum hit a RBI single down the line in right. With the score 6-3, West Bend would score 2 more in the 8th. Daniel Mueller would reach on a error, and would advance to second on a walk to Brandon Mantz. With 2 outs Sam Mattheis walked, and Taylor Koth hit a 2 RBI single to left field to make it 8-3. Scott Booth hit a 2 out RBI double to score Patrick O'Brien and Ryan Hinz to make the game 8-5 and win for 7 Up. Tyler Adams got the win going 8 innings for 7 Up. Anthony Andres went the distance for Brookfield. Jed Justman had 3 hits for West Bend, and Sam Mattheis, Taylor Koth, Brandon Mantz, and Billy Bynum had multiple hit games for West Bend. Patrick O'Brien and Kris Franzen had multiple hit games for the Brookfield Bulldogs.
(7) Pewaukee Muskies 6 at (4) New Berlin Lakers 3
In a rematch of the 2014 Land O' Lakes Grand Championship game, the New Berlin Lakers played host to the Pewaukee Muskies. The Muskies jumped out 1st with 2 runs in the top of the 1st. Kurt Sarcia walked, and Nick Wichser reached on a 1 out error. Brock Guetzke then hit a 2 run double to score Sarcia and Wichser. The score remained 2-0 until the bottom of the 3rd when New Berlin scored 3 runs to take the 3-2 lead. Isaiah Mundt led off the inning with a double and got third on a error on a sacrifice attempt by Tyler Stevens. Nick Kelley then a RBI single scoring Mundt. Adam Vlaj then singled Scoring Stevens to tie it. With still nobody out Dan Setiras singled scoring Kelly. It remained 3-2 New Berlin until the top of the 7th. Kurt Sarcia would get hit by a pitch to lead off the 7th, Ryan Solberg would reach on a walk before New Berlin changed pitchers taking out Lucas Yogerst. After a sacrifice fly by Nick Wichser, Greg Harder hit a 2 run double to score Solberg and Wichser. Pewaukee would score one more insurance run in the 9th after a Brock Guetzke walk, advanced to 2nd on a wild pitch, and a RBI single by Greg Harder. Brian Henschel dominated for Pewaukee giving up just 6 hits while striking out 13. Pewaukee got multiple hit games from Kurt Sarcia and Greg Harder. New Berlin got a multiple hit games from Adam Vlaj and Isaiah Mundt.

(1) Waterford Rivermen 11 at (6) Brookfield Bulldogs 8
24 hours after dropping a game in West Bend, the Brookfield Bulldogs saw their back against the wall in a must win game against the top seed Waterford Rivermen. A six-run sixth inning allowed Waterford to erase an early deficit. They added two insurance runs late to advance and end the Bulldogs’ season. Brookfield got on the board first in the bottom of the second on Mike Jacobs’ two-run single and Josh Lemke RBI single. Waterford scored one in the third when Ben Korman’s infield grounder was bobbled. Brookfield got that back in its half of the third on Bill Gorman’s sacrifice fly. Waterford closed the gap to 4—3 in the fourth on RBI singles by Jake Luenberg and Bart Nowicki. Scott Booth added an RBI single in the Brookfield fifth that gave the hosts a 5-3 lead. In the Waterford sixth. Jason Jacobson reached when his sacrifice bunt was muffed, allowing a run to score. Alex Doud’s single tied the game at 5-5. Tyler Terrian followed with a two-run single while Luenberg’s infield grounder was thrown away, allowing another run to score. Brad Nowicki’s single drove in the final run. Scott Booth and Josh Lemke had 3 hits for the Bulldogs, and Patrick O'Brien, Kris Franzen, and Ryan Hinz all had multiple hit games.
