Lannon 1 at Brookfield Blue Sox 2
http://landolakeswest.atomicleagues.com/schedule/game/23415

Nick Erd was nearly perfect for 8 innings but in the 9th the Brookfield Blue Sox were able to push across the tying and game winning runs to get a huge win for Brookfield. Steve Bartlien's big 2 out double drove in the game winning run Tim Kahle. Aaron Leitner pitched well for Brookfield in the win, scattering 5 hits in a complete game victory. Ty Kozlowski had a multiple hit game for Lannon.

Hartland 2 at Merton 8
http://landolakeswest.atomicleagues.com/schedule/game/23416

With Pewaukee on the horizon for Merton, they had a decision to make, do you start a healthier Sam Mulkey against Hartland or do you hold him off for Pewaukee. For this day it seems that the Amvets made the right decision as Mulkey looked like his old self in a losing streak snapping win against the Hartland Oilers. Mulkey scattered 5 hits over the complete game victory. Merton's bats finally got the heat turned up with 13 hits including 3 from Sam Mulkey. Jake Meyer, Chris Price, and Taylor Meyer had multiple hit games. Hartland cut the game to a 3-2 score after 5 after a Chad Dibb RBI single, but that was all the offense that the Oilers could muster. Kurtis Chapman had a multiple hit game for the Oilers.

Brookfield Bulldogs 8 at Oconomowoc 4 10 innings
http://landolakeswest.atomicleagues.com/schedule/game/23417

After Oconomowoc 3 run 4th inning that gave them a 4-2 lead, it sounded all the alarms across the division that an upset could be brewing in Oconomowoc. The Bulldogs would then score 2 in the 6th to tie the game at 4 until the Bulldogs finally broke it open in the top of the 10th to win 8-4. The Bulldogs got a tremendous complete game victory from Greg Basthemer, who's pitched great over his last two starts. Ryan Hinz and Tyler Fitzsimmons drove in 5 of the 8 runs for Brookfield. Hinz, Fitzsimmons, Elijah Goodman, and Josh Lemke had multiple hit games for Brookfield. The Five O's got a strong start from Jordan Murray, who deserved better with the complete game loss. Josh Bouche had a 4 hit game, Derek Nelson had a 3 hit game, and Steve Rhoads and Jeff Rhoads had multiple hit games for the Oconomowoc Five O's.

Pewaukee 0 at Sussex 1

If you beat Travis Thompson once in a season, and do so in convincing fashion, you can automatically assume you're going to see a focused and determined Thompson the next time. In what was a pitcher's dual between Thompson and Pewaukee's Brian Henschel, it was Thompson who got the upper hand in this match up. The lone run of the game came on a error in the bottom of the second, and other then that, each pitcher was in control. Henschel allowed just 3 hits, while Thompson scattered 7. Only twice in the entire game did a a runner make scoring position. Kurt Sarcia continued his mid season resurgence with 3 hits for Pewaukee.

North Lake 1 at West Bend 6
http://landolakeswest.atomicleagues.com/schedule/game/23419

In the makings of a trap game for West Bend, Adam Rohlinger's crew gambled by handing the baseball to their number 1, Tyler Adams, in hopes of turning the recent trend of flat performances. Adams did not disappoint. He gave just 5 hits after going the first 6 without allowing a base runner. Matt Gaberino would pitch well for North Lake in the loss. Billy Bynum and Jed Justman had multiple hit games for West Bend, while Dan O'Brien would have a multiple hit game for North Lake.

West Bend 6 at Brookfield Bulldogs 2
http://landolakeswest.atomicleagues.com/schedule/game/23420

The gauntlet for West Bend over the next 5 games made West Bend's game against Brookfield a must win games loom with Sussex, North Lake, Lannon, and 2 with Pewaukee. West Bend got off to a hot start, at one point leading 5-0 in the 5th. Brookfield cut the lead to 5-2 but that was as close as they could get as West Bend got the victory. Matt Schubert started for West Bend today and pitched well. Up until today Schubert has been West Bend's State League pitcher but after pitching well in State League, manager Adam Rohlinger gave Schubert a Lakes start and he made Rohlinger look smart. Schubert threw 7 innings, giving up just 1 earned on just 6 hits. West Bend got multiple hit games from Sam Mattheis, Adam Rohlinger, Matt Schubert, and Brandon Mantz. Brookfield got a tremendous offensive game from Scott Booth. Booth had 2 doubles and was robbed of a third. Patrick O'Brien also had a multiple hit game for the Bulldogs.

Brookfield Blue Sox 2 at North Lake 1
http://landolakeswest.atomicleagues.com/schedule/game/23421

If you got to see this game in person, you were given an absolute treat, as two of the best pitchers in Land O' Lakes history turned back time and delivered masterful performances. Both Johnny Arnold and Don August were on top of their games and both deserved the complete game victory but in the end, Johnny Arnold was on the right end of the victory. Arnold threw a complete game, giving up only 1 run, and scattered 11 hits. August, gave up 1 run on just 4 hits but it was a Matt McCarten single for Brookfield that gave the Blue Sox the victory. Dan O'Brien had 3 hits for North Lake, and Sam Calmes, Travis Koeppen, and Matt Gaberino had multiple hit games for the Lakers.

Lannon 8 at Oconomowoc 2
http://landolakeswest.atomicleagues.com/schedule/game/23422

The worry going into Sunday for either one of these teams was did it have enough left in the tank after both having heartbreaking losses the day prior. Lannon was able to shake the loss off better as it scored the 7 runs of the game. Troy Kenkel got the victory for Lannon, giving up 2 runs on 7 hits. Both James Heinritz and Jake Hagemeyer had 3 hits for Lannon, while Ty Kozlowski chipped in with a multiple hit game for the Stonemen. Oconomowoc got a three hit game from Logan Larson, and a multiple hit game from Jeff Rhoads. Chandler Ziemann went the distance for the Five O's.

Merton 3 at Pewaukee 8
http://landolakeswest.atomicleagues.com/schedule/game/23423

In two games Pewaukee went to undefeated to two losses and many in the league had to be wondering what was going on with the Muskies. Thankfully for the Muskies, they didn't have to leave that question out there to long as they got to play again today. The Muskies left the day with a 8-3 win over Merton. After Merton led 2-1 after their 5th, Pewaukee got their bats going and scored 4 in the 5th and 3 in the 6th. Austin Hansen pitched brilliantly for Pewaukee, giving up just 2 runs on 3 hits in 7 innings. Pewaukee got 3 hits from Brock Guetzke, and multiple hit games from Ryan Solberg, Greg Harder, and Mike Grabarczyk.

Sussex 9 at Hartland 1
http://landolakeswest.atomicleagues.com/schedule/game/23424

Once upon a time, Sussex was known for hitting, slowly but surely that perception is that they are turning into a team of pitching. Both BJ Sabol and Lucas Keller have been dominate and they were dominate against Hartland today. The duo combined for 17 strikeouts, while only allowing 4 hits. Sussex got a huge day from Bryan Laabs, who had 3 hits including a home run, a double, and a single. Todd Johnson, Scott Carberry, and BJ Sabol also had 3 hit games for the Cardinals. Tanner Johnson had a multiple hit game for Sussex. Seth Kroenke hit a home run.
